Naming The Dead
November 1st 2004

NSW Democrat MLC, Dr Arthur Chesterfield-Evans, will join other members of the Sydney Peace & Justice Coalition to read the names of those who have died in Iraq over the past 18 months.

M.C.for the event will be Rev Dr. Ann Wansbrough There will be a display of the names of those killed in conflict between the 20th March 2003-19th October 2004.

• Iraqi civilians - 37,000.
• Coalition soldiers - 1,246;
• Iraqi military - 30,000.

The full names of 2,737 Iraqi civilians and of all Coalition soldiers killed will be read out by several guest speakers.
