WHERE: Governor Macquarie Tower, Bent St, Sydney.

Hotel owners from across N.S.W. will gather in front of Governor Macquarie Tower today calling on the Iemma Government to place an immediate freeze on the trading of Poker Machine Entitlements by hotel lessees without the consent of hotel owners.

The issues to be highlighted are as follows:

• The closure of up to 100 Country Hotels as they will become no longer financially viable.

• Confirmation of War Veteran’s loss of lifetime investment.
• The importance of supporting legislation introduced by Dr Arthur Chesterfield-Evans.
• The negative effect of the A.H.A. on the Hotel Industry
